Carbon Neutral Roses Delivery

To offset the carbon footprint we cause by importing the roses, we run a reforestation program in the Ecuadorian Province of Chimborazo. In fact, we offset double the amount of carbon footprint we cause.

The indigenous people of Chimborazo plant, grow and take care of the trees (currently approx. 500 trees) that will transform approx 180-190k tones of CO2 into oxygen over the course of the next 5 years (2008 - 2013).

Additionally, this gives the people of Chimborazo - most of whom only speak the native Quechua language, and thus have difficulties integrating into society - a task, and they are able to make a living from this program.
