Carbon Neutral
At OnlyRoses we offset the carbon footprint we cause by flying our roses into the UK by running a reforestation program in the Ecuadorian Province of Chimborazo. In fact, we aim to offset double the amount of carbon emissions we cause!
The indigenous people of Chimborazo plant, grow and take care of the trees (currently approx. 500 trees) that will transform approx 180-190k tones of CO2 into oxygen over the course of five years (2008 - 2013).
Additionally, the program helps the people of Chimborazo (most of whom only speak the native Quechua language and thus have difficulties integrating into society) to make a living.

We review our carbon footprint twice a year using methods given by Carbon Footprint Ltd.
